Features of dba Ceiling Dehumidifier

Hong Kong is a region with a humid climate, especially during the summer months when walls and ceilings become damp. The combination of the moist weather and high-rise buildings can lead to the accumulation of indoor humidity, causing damage to furniture, floors, walls, and other interior materials. Additionally, this can result in issues like mold, mildew, and pests, which pose a threat to health.

The dba dehumidifier utilizes condensation principles to extract moisture from the air, automatically regulating indoor humidity levels. It effectively improves indoor air quality and provides users with a healthier and more comfortable living environment.

Features of dba Ceiling Dehumidifier

Space Saving

One of the key benefits of the dba Ceiling Dehumidifier is its space-saving design. In Hong Kong's limited living spaces, traditional dehumidifiers require storage when not in use, which can be a waste of valuable space. The dba Ceiling Dehumidifier can be seamlessly installed on the ceiling, without taking up any precious living space.

No More Emptying Water Tank

Unlike traditional dehumidifiers that need manual emptying of the water tank when it fills up, the dba Ceiling Dehumidifier has a built-in drainage pump that automatically eliminates the water. This prevents any shutdown due to water overflow. Additionally, if there's a pump failure or drainage blockage, a built-in leak detection sensor ensures the dehumidifier stops operating.

Quiet Operation

The dba Ceiling Dehumidifier, mounted on the ceiling, utilizes a horizontal compressor and an inverter fan motor, resulting in significantly lower noise levels compared to conventional household dehumidifiers, no disturbance at night.

Simultaneous Dehumidification for Multiple Rooms

Unlike traditional household dehumidifiers that can only handle one room at a time, the dba Ceiling Dehumidifier can cater to the humidity needs of every room. Through a ducted installation, dry air is efficiently distributed to each room, maintaining an ideal humidity level throughout the entire house.

Simultaneous Dehumidification and Air Purification

The dba Fresh Air Dehumidifier is equipped with a built-in UV-C germicidal lamp and HEPA filter, providing air purification while dehumidifying to ensure the well-being of users. The UV-C germicidal lamp effectively kills 99% of bacteria within 6 seconds, while the HEPA filter removes fine particulate matter such as PM2.5, pollen and mold spores.

Bringing in Fresh Air while Dehumidifying

The dba Fresh Air Dehumidifier incorporates a fresh air damper, return air damper, HEPA filter, and a five-in-one air sensor. It can automatically control the indoor fresh air intake and dehumidification based on the indoor air quality and dehumidification requirements. It offers four modes: dehumidification mode, fresh air mode, hybrid mode, and auto mode, catering to the different needs of fresh air and dehumidification throughout the seasons.

WiFi App Control / Smart Home Integration / Building Management System (BMS)

The dba dehumidification system can be integrated into a smart home or building management system through the RS485 communication interface. Additionally, it can be monitored in real-time via the color control panel or the WiFi App on a mobile device, allowing users to conveniently monitor the indoor humidity levels.

Energy-efficient and High Performance

The dba Ceiling Dehumidifier outperforms air conditioning units in terms of dehumidification effectiveness and energy consumption. While air conditioning units can assist in dehumidification, their dehumidification capacity is limited, and the process is slower. If dehumidifying the entire house, each room's air conditioner would need to be running for extended periods, resulting in significant energy consumption. On the other hand, the dba Ceiling Dehumidifier requires only a quarter of the power consumed by air conditioning units to effectively dehumidify the entire house. For example, in a three-bedroom unit, it would typically require four air conditioners, consuming around 4 kWh per hour, resulting in a total of 40 kWh for 10 hours of dehumidification. In contrast, the dba Ceiling Dehumidifier consumes only 1-1.5 kWh, maintaining the desired humidity level for the entire house. The dehumidifier operates automatically based on the set humidity level, optimizing energy efficiency.
